Who is responsible

The controller of any personal data described here is SIA "Green Wire Media", Rūpniecības iela 8A, Cēsis, LV-4101, Latvia, VAT LV40103809984.

For anything on this page, including access, correction or deletion requests, write to info@greenwiremedia.com. We answer within one month, usually far sooner.

What we collect

• Enquiries. The name, email, phone number and message you type into the contact form, plus who you are and the budget range if you pick them. We use it to answer you and, if it turns into work, to run the project.
• Page views. A first-party count of which page was viewed, the full address it was opened at including anything after the question mark, and which site referred you. It sets no cookie and follows nobody from one visit to the next. There is one identifier it can hold: if a ChatGPT ad brought you here, OpenAI puts a click reference in that address, and we keep it, because it is the only thing linking the click we paid for to the visit. This runs whether or not you accept cookies.
• Analytics, only if you accept. Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies and measures visits across pages and sessions. Nothing is stored and no cookie is set until you accept the banner.
• Ad measurement, only if you accept. The OpenAI Ads pixel, which tells us whether an ad shown in ChatGPT led anywhere: which page you landed on, whether you sent the contact form, and whether you clicked one of our email addresses or phone numbers. It records that the action happened, never what you typed. It sets cookies, and its script is not even fetched from OpenAI until you accept the banner.
• Ad measurement, even if you decline. If a ChatGPT ad brought you here, our server tells OpenAI that the visit happened, and that you clicked one of our email addresses or phone numbers if you do so on that same page. It sends the click reference out of the address you arrived at and nothing else: no cookie, no IP address, no browser details, nothing about you. It is flagged so OpenAI may not use it to personalise anything. This is how an ad we paid for gets counted when you decline the banner, and you can object to it at any time by writing to us.
• Server logs. Our host records requests, including IP addresses, for security and abuse prevention. These are short-lived and are not used to profile anyone.

Cookies, in full

Before you answer the banner, this site sets no cookies. Not a session cookie, not an analytics cookie, nothing. Decline and it stays that way, and any cookie a previous visit left behind is deleted.

Accept and these are the cookies that can be set. The first four always are. The ad-click one exists only if a ChatGPT ad is what brought you here, and the last is a technical check that deletes itself a minute later:

Two more things are stored, and neither is a cookie: your answer to the banner itself, kept in your browser under gwm-consent so we do not ask again on every page, and the pixel's own copy of that answer under oaiq_consent. Neither leaves your device. Clearing your browser storage clears them, and you can change your mind at any time from the Cookies link in the footer.

Why we are allowed to

• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). Analytics and ad-measurement cookies. Given by the banner, withdrawable at any time from the footer, with no consequence for using the site.
• Contract and pre-contract steps (Art. 6(1)(b)). Answering your enquiry and delivering work you order.
• Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)). Keeping the site secure and available, our cookieless page counts, and telling OpenAI that an ad we paid for led to a visit or an enquiry. That last one carries the ad click reference and nothing about you, it may not be used to personalise anything, and you can object to it at any time.
• Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)). Accounting records once you become a client.

Who else touches it

• Cloudflare. Hosting, CDN and the database holding contact-form submissions.
• Google. Workspace for our email, and Analytics if you accepted it.
• OpenAI. Measures whether a ChatGPT ad led anywhere. With your consent that runs through the pixel and its cookies; without it, through a message from our server carrying the ad click reference alone. Either way OpenAI receives that something happened, never what you wrote.
• Resend. Delivers the contact-form email to our inbox.

We do not sell data and we do not share enquiries with anyone outside the list above. The only advertising we measure is our own. Some of these providers are US companies and may process data outside the EU under the standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept while we are talking and for as long as the client relationship lasts. If nothing comes of it, we delete the message. Accounting records are kept for the period Latvian law requires. Analytics and ad-measurement data expire on Google's and OpenAI's retention schedules. Server logs are short-lived.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict or stop a particular use, and ask for it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it without giving a reason. One email to info@greenwiremedia.com starts any of these.

If we get it wrong, you can complain to the Latvian data protection authority, Datu valsts inspekcija (dvi.gov.lv), or to the authority where you live.

Changes

If the site starts loading something new, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. We do not quietly widen what we collect.
