TransferBnB

TransferBnB is a private-transfer marketplace for Europe. A traveller says where they are going and when; verified carriers compete for the job; the traveller picks the offer they want. We designed and built the whole platform and it has been carrying real bookings ever since.

The booking is the other way round

Most transfer sites quote one price and assign whoever is free. Here the offers come to the traveller, and they are real offers from named carriers - the vehicle, the driver, the rating, the languages spoken, the final price. Nothing is decided before the traveller has seen what they are choosing between. That single inversion is what the whole product is built around, and it is why the platform can be cheaper on one route and better on another without pretending otherwise.

Around it sits the ordinary machinery of a service people trust with a flight arrival: free cancellation, flight tracking so a delayed landing does not lose the car, waiting time built into the price, and vehicle classes from a shared minibus to VIP.

Three applications on one API

There is more here than the booking site. Carriers have their own place to bid, manage fleets and get paid; companies have accounts for staff travel; and an admin panel sits behind both. The three front ends are Next.js, all of them multilingual, and they talk to one NestJS API over PostgreSQL with queue workers doing the slow work out of the request path. Payments run through Stripe, mail through SES, maps and routing through Google, and the whole thing lives on AWS with authentication separated by audience so a carrier account can never reach a customer’s data.

The content side is part of the platform

A marketplace with no traffic is a directory. So the site carries hundreds of route and airport pages and a working blog, all server-rendered and indexable, each one written to answer the question a traveller actually types before they book. It is a slower channel than ads and it compounds instead of stopping when the budget does.

Stack: Next.js, NestJS, PostgreSQL, Redis, Stripe, AWS (Cognito, SES, S3, CloudFront), Google Maps.
